Why I Built Renew90

I am Doreen. I'm an INFJ, a mom to a toddler, and five years ago I left the country I was born and raised in to build a life in Cape Town with the love of my life. Since then, I've had to rethink my career, rebuild a social life from nothing, and figure out how to stay close to family from far away.

It's not to imply that I have it all figured out. Does anyone ever? But I'm not where I was when I first came here. I had to strip away layers of how I was raised, for a different society, and now choosing another. To adjusting to new roles and taking on multiple new identities. This was quite a shock to my system.

Journaling is what got me through it, not as a hobby but as the thing that helped me make sense of a total identity rewiring. Renew90 came out of that. It's not built by a team that studied journaling from the outside. It's built by someone who needed exactly this, and built it for anyone else going through their own version of starting over.
